Tempered Glass Washboard

This Genuine Wood and Glass Washboard Is Still One of the Best Ways to Lift Stains From Clothing

While most of us just pile clothes in the washing machine and let it do its thing, there was a time when laundry was done exclusively by hand…with the help of a washboard. Even in today’s modern machine-driven world the washboard still has its place as it’s a great way to lift really tough stains without using extra chemicals. The washboard’s specially crimped surface (and a little elbow grease) effectively removes dirt and stains—plus, your arms get a workout! With its old-time “ad” printed along the top (they used to be printed with laundry soap ads), this vintage-look washboard makes a great decorative piece, too.
