Potica (pronounced po-TEE-sa) is an old-world specialty pastry that takes 24 hours to make and is painstakingly rolled with layers and layers of whisper-thin pastry dough. Each rolled pastry is filled with nuts, fruit, or a combination of both, rolled into a slender loaf and baked until golden brown. So what’s the best way to enjoy potica? Sliced thin and paired with a cup of piping hot tea or coffee!
